Linda Owen, Plan Administrator
Linda Owen is a Plan Administrator providing customer service and consulting to PyraStar clients. Linda served as a plan administrator for NorthPoint Financial Services, a third-party administration firm which provided plan administration, compliance, 5500 preparation and ERISA consulting for small businesses until 2011 when NorthPoint Financial was acquired by PyraStar Pension Group, Inc.
Linda has successfully integrated Northpoint clients into PyraStar's administration systems, providing a smooth, cohesive, and pleasant transition for all. Besides providing plan administration and consulting services, she currently oversees the system integration of PyraStar's in-house Processing Services for plan distributions, participant loans, and other internal technical procedures and policies.
In addition to qualified retirement plan and ERISA experience, Linda has over 20 years experience in office management systems and HR/Benefits, compensation, and regulatory compliance.
Linda received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Radford University in her home state of Virginia and her Human Resource Certification at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Linda is an active member of the NCEO.
Some of Linda's personal interests include visiting her grown children in Florida and Virginia, watching NASCAR, following VA Tech Hokies football, competing in 5K events, and knitting.
